Pregnancy Statistics Query

The Pregnancy Statistics Query generates tables for Kansas resident pregnancy outcomes, summarized by Year, Age-Group, Race, and County of Residence, Outcome, Marital Status and Education of Mother.  A pregnancy may result in a live birth, a stillbirth, or an abortion.  Data from 1993 to the present is included. Cells with counts less than 6 and rates based on figures less than 20 are suppressed for confidentiality.

Population data used to calculate rates for 2010 was prepared differently from prior years. See population notes and limitations.

For further explanation of all queries, click on KIC Notes and Limitations contains documentation for all KIC and Fast Stats modules. Click here for specific information about pregnancy statistics queries.

You can create a table query of death data by any combination of the row or column variables. You can also limit the results to a single category of any other variable. 2010 is the most current year.
