Welcome to Kansas Information for Communities (KIC), a health information portal
with health data you can query and links to many other data reports and information. KIC enables you to query vital event
and other health care data. The tables created will answer many health questions. KIC modules allow you to
specify the fields to be included and how to tabulate the information: by year of occurrence, age, race, Hispanic origin,
sex, or county.
Datasets that can be queried are:
Births,
Cancer Incidence,
Deaths,
Hospital Discharges by Diagnosis,
Hospital Discharges by Procedure,
Kansas Population Estimates, and
Pregnancies
Many other information sources are also available. Use our
navigation menu to the left to check them out or click here.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is committed to enhancing KIC. If you are new to KIC,
click here to tell us about yourself. Your input is needed to identify areas we can improve.
For information on how KIC was created, see our history page.
